airAlert-4-schools Competition
Welcome to the airAlert-4-schools competition page.
We are running a competition for children at Junior, Infant, Special and Primary (or similar) schools across Sussex.
We want children to be aware of pollution issues but still feel they can do healthy and active things.
airAlert helps warn people who may suffer when air pollution gets worse (like asthma) by sending a message to their home phone,
mobile or computer. We tell them where, when and how long air pollution is likely to be in their area, before it happens!
airAlert can help people to be aware/informed (take medicines or manage their time) and be able to still have fun outdoors.
JUST BE AIR AWARE!
Competition:
Children can enter the competition by downloading a competition entry form for their age group and sending it in
to airAlert by the 8th August 2008. We will ask a special guest judge to select a winner from each age group
and we will then contact the schools in September to present the winners with their prizes.
There are 3 age group competitions for children in the following year groups (school year 2007/08).
Each group will be able to colour in our airAlert Hedgehog (Hoggy) and add messages to Hoggy's speech bubble (Yr 3&4 and 5&6/7).
