What is airAlert-4-schools?

airAlert-4-schools started as a pilot service in 2007. We invited a number of schools in Sussex to participate in this pilot to test the service for school children during the summer term. We are to continue with airAlert-4-schools in 2008 and are seeking more schools to participate in this service.

If you are a school official and wish to register the airAlert service for your school please go to the airAlert-4-schools registration page.

Key objectives of airAlert-4-schools service:

  1. To reach out and inform vulnerable young people.
  2. To establish an effective delivery service for health and environmental information for schools.
  3. To engage young people and education professionals in the use of health and environmental information.
